A few days ago a good friend of mine told me he "found" two brand new gear side, plates for a 49 amongst his old tackle.
If it is worth something to someone I can see if he will part with them.
Maybe you can still buy them on your side of the ocean, I have no idea....LOL
We sometimes get lucky over here with NOS purchases of lot parts. That's the only way to get them nowadays.
We don't buy from overseas though.
You could probably eBay it over there, or something similar, and some is sure to snap it up!
Thanks Maureen. If someone has a need for them they can contact me and Ill try and "get them" and I can always send it by mail. I am trying to do someone a favour rather than make some money. Just the postage from here may well be too expensive.
