Hey guys,
I'm working on having the Spacer Bar Braces available soon!
I'm working on the files for the 3D printing to get it as fine tuned as possible.
I've gone through a lot of filament this week trying to get it dialed in.
I'm also working on all of the fitment info. As of now, I have the wide ones for the Beachmaster 155 which should fit the Sqidder 140 and Surfmaster 200.
I'm working on the narrow version as well.
Pricing will be $15 per set for the wide and $14 per set for the narrow.
I'll be making them in black for now, but will have other colors available down the road.
Thank you all for your interest and advice in getting this off the ground! :)

In the Critter Gitter post. He said something about PLA.
PLA is a plastic similar to acrylic.
It has a Rockwell H Scale hardness of 60.
Fill us in Chad of the composition.
Looks very nice and clean. Do you have inserts for the screw threads ??...or are the screw threads tapped into the plastic ??
Ted
Ted, it looks like the original posts are inside the braces.
I want at least one set of the wide braces.
Thanks,
Smols

Correct, these braces slide over the original spacer bars

The ones in my pictures are made from PLA (Polylactic acid). It is a renewable plastic (biodegradeable), however, it only breaks down under the right conditions in a commercial biodegrading environment.
I'm also working on printing them in ABS. Test print is running now :)
1 of each for me.
I'm investigating a UV-cure finish for bad chrome that Alan, Bryan and i were noodling around...that would be sweet in black in your bars. i think I will epoxy my bars in place in any case.
Update:
Hey guys, thank you for all the interest!
Unfortunately, it's going to take a bit longer than I hoped. All the kids and my wife have been passing around a nasty stomach flu this week pretty much eliminating any extra time I had to put into it.
The other thing is that my boss is fine with me using the 3D printer for personal stuff, but a little iffy on my using it to make parts for me to sell. I'm working on an agreement that I hope he will be ok with until I can get my own 3D printer.
Thanks for understanding.
NP. completely reasonable.
Chad,
Sounds great...family and health first!!! We understand, hope everyone gets well😀
Brett
Take your time Chad.
Good Luck with that Stomach Flu.
My Boss is on a need to know basis. ;)

Well, you should be good for 3 sets each for me, myself, and I. 😁🤙
I would be interested in a set.
