Title: 10/0 for Christmas
Post by: Shark Hunter on December 30, 2017, 01:48:24 AM
With My Christmas Money I bought this on Christmas Day.
I tried to lowball him, but he wouldn't budge.
The pictures were fuzzy and it looked like it needed rings, but I could see the spool was in great shape.
I rolled the dice.
The Box came today and there was a big tear in it on two sides. ::)
Luckily, he wrapped it pretty good.
For $200, It looks pretty nice. Probably the nicest one I own now at this price. ;D

I have an obnoxious amount of reels and the 10/0 you sold me is one of my top favorites. A great size to be manageable and still get a lot done on the hook end. Nice work.

Gotta love it when fuzzy pics works to your advantage.

I love rolling the dice and the suspense of waiting to see if it was like I was hoping.

  Congrats Daron, that's a score !!

I often wonder how many times I've bid against one of our own?  That is a pretty one!

John and Robin,
I sold you that reel John because you are my Brother.
Robin, I traded the tricked out 12/0 for yours because I think these are very special reels, and you have a much more capable machine for what we do. You are also my Brother.
They will probably never be made again.
They are trying to sell ratty ones these days for $300 and up.
I also sold one to Tom because I thought I was ready to start letting some go.
That was a must, because I knew it would be R&D for something amazing.
That is not the case as of yet.
I sold two and bought four more to replace them.
I got one in the box from Dom that is the cream of the crop. ;)

Very cool Rudy, and the 16/0 is the most impressive of the bunch

When I visited Dominick in San Mateo I was privileged enough to get to the garage and see his collection and hold the 16/0 full of line.  What a heavy beast of reel that is....His 10/0 seems to be just about right for power and balance....Good job brother Daron...Bill
