The Starfire is a new boat in Moro Bay. Captain/Owner Sal Ochoa & decky extraordinaire Mike Oddo are on online (previously of the Avenger). Nov. 3, will be a 3/4 day 8am to 4pm. I have fished with Sal & Mike before, and just like Captian Brad of the Endeavor I find them to be Top Shelf!

i'll be in los angeles, towing the equipment trailer for the local high school marching band. i think this will be my last year. they should be able to find someone else next year. fishing has got to be more of a priority in my life...... ;D

I wish it was that easy! Trying to put this thing together is making me feel like an idiot! I'll give it another shot or two trying to put it together but if it didn't go well I'm gonna ship it to Alan to piece together and spool for me!

I want to go so much but am not quite there. I moved like a pinball on the deck of the SOA. Underpowered and overweight. Good thing I only hurt myself.

I'm gonna bring a few extras but I'm limited on conventional reel set ups which I think will be easier for her to crank up heavy jigs all day using the rail.... I figure between myself and all the extra gear the crew usually brings I think we could outfit the whole boat....
