Thanks Paul. I don't think I've ever been called a tackle tart. :D to the other Paul.
Give it time, you'll be a tackle tart, like me. ;D
I have been trying to behave myself and actually haven't bought any reels in a while now. That ended today. A guy at my work went Salmon fishing in Michigan and bought some reels. He brought them in to show me. I guess he knew I would bite. He had a Abu 7000 and a triton 300.
I kept my cool, I only went home with the triton. ;D Other than the name plate, its in pretty good shape. Reminds me of a Sealine. Alloy frame and aluminum spool.

Great start. Collecting is a very personal thing. The most important thing is you have fun doing it.

John,
Your enthusiasm for restoring and collecting old penn reels is going to make you a stellar collection.
Keep it up pal... Thanks for sharing,

We admitted that we were powerless over Jigmasters, and our propensity to bling had become unmanageable...

But seriously, one can never have too many!   ;)  :D  ;D
