Bet that 5 lb spool of 130 was pricey! Looking good!
Not Really,
About 80 bucks if you buy four.

Nice! Looks like you're hooked, Carl, and being reeled in.   :)

Not the collection, but picture worthy.
I opened an old box in the garage today to find three 349's that I forgot about. They were picked up years ago but I never got around to them.
At the time they about were $50 flea bay finds.

In the rear for size comparison (L) 113H Tib frame (R) Tib frame 349 wide "wahoo special"
A summer projects is if I can get these three stock dinosaurs some new guts and frames.
Someone talk some sense into me!
I'm not sure if it's going to be cost effective to to a complete rebuild with the lack of after market upgrade parts.
The appeal to this larger reel imo was to hold MEGA amounts of dacron and mono.
Maybe I'll just tear down and do a new Smoothdrag drag/washer kit. Not sure if SS gear sleeves are available?
I'm just in love with the 4/0 narrows and 349's.
I think 4/0 tanks are the most cost effective reel with available parts for size and weight.

Your killing me!
I'm thinking real hard about one.
Let me look into getting SS guts and all the fix-ins before I commit.

I took a two year break from this site.
Now that I'm back, the greased CF drags and SS gear sleeves just don't cut it anymore.
I can tell this is going to cost me money.

Gary if you need gears I have them.  Need a bridge I have a few also.

I should not have pulled these out onto the bench tonight!
I've already got a few rebuilds and conversions on deck in the near future.
Also a problem or two I need to solve before starting these four.
I can fish these inside the bay as they are, live bait and halibut for now until I get the time to get to them
and do the full ss makeover.
Thanks Mike. I'll shoot you a PM if I need them down the road.
