Last week I got a chance to enjoy some sunny southeast weather and fish for halibut with some faces you may recognize.
We used one of Sals narrow tanks, a Tib framed narrow 4/0 and the Yellowtail special.  At first the fish were small and scarce butt!

The sun was out and we had a great time.   The hotrod reels got a workout,  we got fish,  we got tired.   Life is Good. 8)

Yep! well deserved!

One of these two and the king of butts together would also be nice.

Forget about all the reasons why something may not work. You only need to find one good reason why it will.

How about another photo of the month consideration?

Brett's daughters --

Couple of custom rods, couple of old school Penns with special memories -- upgraded and used capably, couple of great smiles, couple of AT shirts -- and maybe the most important thing is passing the passion of fishing and the outdoors onto another younger generation.

Ohana at its best...

Best,

The first rule of fishing is to fish where the fish are. The second rule of fishing is to never forget the first rule.

Somewhere, down the road, two very lucky guys will marry those two girls and have wives that love to fish . . . A rare & precious commodity !
