SoCal is correct, troll fish have their tails clipped to eliminate them from jackpot contention. On ROYAL STAR, though, tails are also clipped on line-caught (tagged) fish to designate passengers (like me) who want their catch processed by Fisherman's Processing. Any fish that feels heavy enough to be a jackpot contender is weighed on the spot and recorded before going into the RSW tank.
Now I'm going to sleep for eighteen hours or so... I am one wiped-out (but content) old lady. À demain, mes amis.
