Hi everyone,

Long time reader, fist time poster and I wanted to introduce myself.  My name is Mike C and I was born and raised in SE Florida but 3 years ago moved to Philadelphia, PA.  Being a shore bound fisher the move really threw a monkey wrench in using my bigger reels but on the brighter side they have never been so well maintained.

I really love reading the threads on Senator repairs and upgrades not to say I dont read the rest as well just mentioning my favorite. I have always enjoyed maintaining my reels and was very happy when I found all the ways on this site to upgrade the old Senators.
Thanks for reading and keep up all the good work.

Welcome, Mike --

You have come to the right place to learn a little more about Penns.

One of our guys who posts very infrequently is Sal (alto mare).

He is an engineering expert with Penns -- and is one of your neighbors!

Take a few minutes, and learn how to post pics using photobucket (free).

Everyone will have a better idea of what you are doing.

Best,

Fred

Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.

Hi, Mike. C'mon in, the water's fine!

(P.S. I love working on classic Senators, too!)   :)
