I have been looking for a way to fit rings onto expanded side plates and I couldn't figure out how to do it without cosmetically ruining them.  Please do tell (or direct me towards the thread).

I've done the same on some 10/0's. But used a sanding wheel on a dremel. gassho.. Bosu.

I know the contest is over but I wanted to share a photo of my son and Chevy.  Chevy was a black lab that loved the boat.  He would ride all day and stay on the look out for fish.  When  you got a hook up he would step back and watch.  If you didn't land the fish he would give a look of disgust that was priceless.  Unfortunately he passed unexpectedly last year.  The boat will not be the same.
