Jason I bet if you purchased a silver one you could stain it blue with a chemical bath that I remember seeing used years ago on polished shafts on electric motors.  It was so long ago I cannot remember the name but  I will if someone refreshes my recollection of the name.  There are plenty of machinists on this site that will know what I am talking about.  Dominick

if tom can get you one that is bare, no anodizing, you can probably have it anodized locally in any color you want!

I just remembered it is called Prussian Blue.  I don't know anything else about it.  Maybe some one of the members will know about it.  Dominick
