Hi guys, I've been doing lots of reading here and have decided to build my own version of "The Tank" out of a Senator 133H. I bought an Accuframe on ebay for what I think was a fair price, $80 new in the box. Well, when it came in I realized it was a narrow frame. Didn't expect that, didn't pay attention to the photos.

So...

I need some help figuring out what kind of spool I need. Don't even know where to look. Any help will be greatly appreciated!  ;D

And if it helps, the Accuframe part number is AF-113S.

I believe you need a yellow tail special spool. The accurate spool will be harder to find. I think a Tiburon T4N will fit. Take some measurements to be sure.

I believe that part number is for a standard width silver frame.

The Tiburon kit I used for my Tank was a T4NK. I think that's the narrow.

Hi, my name is Lee and I have a fishing gear problem.

I have all of the answers, yup, no, maybe.

a newell yellowtail special spool MAY work for you. I've got one in my 4/0 with a narrow Tiburon frame, and works fine. I've got an extra newell yts spool i'll sell. send me a p.m. if interested.

Alright, a small update. The frame I bought is NOT a narrow frame, it is a standard one. I have my 113H completely disassembled and am working on getting everything cleaned up and lubed before I install the parts on the new frame.

Stay with it, you will get it done.
I try to help all I can, but I am tiny grasshoppa here. ;)

day0ne, you were absolutely correct. Guys, thanks for al the help.

I have the reel cleaned and assembled, minus a few small parts. I'll try to get a photo of it tomorrow. This is my new favorite reel.  ;D

Will post details with the photos.

Minus a few small parts? That does not sound good!

Well, it's not too bad. One of the frame screws was bent and unusable and I don't have any spares lying around. And the handle I used is from an International 20, and it's missing the locking plate and screw.
