good news. spam accounts have dropped off to nothing. i think they've given up on us. if so, good riddance!
We still get 10 to 20 a day at the site I Mod at.. Man it gets old and tiresome!!!! We had a spam filter but lost it on an Upgrade. Still have a "Red flag" on them though, it helps a lot, easy to spot them....  |

the spam filter is actually picking up a few guys that are not spammers, so i have to review every blocked application. most of the time it's working.

Hi Allan, I had the same problem at Esoxhunt, and tried IP banning, but without the desired results. I finally installed a capcha, that resolved the problem. The capcha you use, should use a fishing related question.
