Steve Fukuda asked me to turn some cedar plugs from wood he provided.  I do not know the species, but I know I like the resultant plugs. 







Do not ask for any until I find out the species of wood and also if I can buy any.  They were tough to turn, but are visually worth it.
Kites fly the highest against the wind, not with it.

Look like it might be ironwood... but the purple tones are unusual... For sure it will dull your edges.
