Oh we dined on her, she gave up some lovely fillets as my filleting assistant can testify:



She (the cat) was caught red-handed but fortunately before she had a chance to help herself.

Here are the fillets, the roe was smoked and tasted absolutely fantastic, sliced and gently fried in butter. The head & frame were boiled and the flesh recovered and used in fishcakes.



We don't waste much on this side of the pond

Just catching up and updating my Profile....

Here is a Pic, few weeks old.  (2-23-11)
On the DFG Shock Boat after Hours at Diamond Valley Lake in So Ca...




If any one is interested here are a few more of that evening. The Electric Shock Boat is DFG Biologists way of checking numbers and health of the fishery. 
To busy for a lot of pics that night but here are a few.
Its a volunteer thing and hard to get in, every one wants to do it..
