Over the next few weeks i will be doing write ups and tutorials regarding Avets broad line up of reels. This will also be a Q and A. So stay tuned for an in depth discussion regarding Avet reels and their inner workings.  First things first we will be talking about the necessary tools, supplies, and lubrication in the upcoming week.

Yay, my fourth Avet (first Raptor) is on the way.  Guess I should know how to take care of them.

Lostbrd, if you have any issues with your Avets either create a new thread - or do some research through the archives for resolutions to prior enquires. I wouldn't want you turning blue in the face waiting for tutorials that might never come to fruition.

Btw, welcome to Alan Tani's neighbourhood!  ;)

I got a question.

What on earth do you use to unbolt the tiny handle nut residing down the bottom of the hole in the handle knob?

I believe it is 1/4 inch. I use a driver head that fits inside the handle knob.
