Lol, that's great. I think it got confused. Those guys looked like they were feeding it. It saw the bird moving and smelled fish. Ate the bird and realized that it was not a prized catch. Spit it out. That bird doesn't know how close it was to death.

I once saw a blue shark attack a bird on the surface one. It grabbed it by the leg but the bird eventually got away. It was pretty cool.

Where do you see tuna fish swimming around the dock that like. That's amazing.

David Hall

Yeah I want to know too,
Where do bluefin swim around in the harbor?

FatTuna

Maybe it was sick... it did eat a seagull....

I opened the video in youtube and it says it was in Spain.

Sea Rats! I hate them. I try to go to Florida in early May when they are still on the nest and the red tide has not flourished.

Bird went to steal bait they were throwing to the fish and the tuna got both but spit out the gull!

Tuna might not eat a Gull but I'm pretty sure I've seen a Billfish take one down-all there was left after the splash was a few feathers floating....

anglingarchitect

I know Tiger sharks eat them.

RowdyW

A Tiger Shark will eat almost anything. They've even been found with licence plates in their stomachs.

I did an unpublished/internal research project on Tiger Sharks eating baby Albatross at East Island French Frigate Shoals.

Contrary to the popular belief that Tiger Sharks are generalist (i.e. the trash collectors of the ocean), they have been shown to be 'directed specialists'.  They migrate in order to capitalize on key prey items at specific times of the year.  They will actually focus/feed exclusively on a specific prey source while ignoring other typical prey items.  This has been proven in various locals around the world including Australia, Hawaii, the GOM, Azores, and the Seychelles.

They do like to feed to seabirds resting on the water though.
