I'm confused a little , i saw this upgrade a few days ago . I own a cardiff 201A and I've found this on E-bay : https://www.ebay.com/itm/SHIMANO-CONVENTIONAL-REEL-PART-TGT0215-TR-100G-TR-200G-Handle-Assembly-/352068706928?_trksid=p2385738.m4383.l4275.c10#shpCntId

I've ask about the compatibility of this handle to the seller (just to be sure ) ,and he said that does'nt fit .

any info/experience on this subject ?

The handle for that reel is tiny. It may fit but its too short.

For the 400 series the Calcutta 400BSV handle is a nice upgrade, BNT3369. Unsure if it will fit on the smaller reel driveshafts.

Thank you Boon . By comparing the dimensions of the friction washer(BNT799) of the cardiff and the Calcutta ,they are the same (BNT799) ,i suppose the handle will fit . And as a bonus ,it's the same gold anodised than the stock one .

Just to close (temporarily ,I suppose ) this upgrade . The BNT3369 calcutta's handle fits perfectly the cardiff 200 & 300 series , thanks Boone for the tip .

Here's the handle on my 201 (15lbs powerpro) and one fine abu garcia Madaï/Kabura rod ( 7.0" , 5.5 Oz ) , a perfect weapon on big porgys and other bottom fishes
