Pulling a bearing off a spool shaft??????

same thing happened to me on a daiwa sealine 40SHV, I have to use the 2 screwdrivers technique and got if off not easily, I ended up leaving some ugly marks on the spool from the screwdrivers tips but that reel needed a new bearing badly.

I say take that bearing out before its bad and corroded cuz it would be impossible to take it out later, some times it feels like if it welded to the shaft from the corrosion
