If you decide to get one Alex I have the rest of the parts, same price as for Bryan $0.00.  The gear sets are used but still good.  It would be a good jigging reel for your area.

The 349/349H reel kits are now up on the website!

I put a few together with a stock Penn spool, a Newell spool and Randy's Tiburon spool. The Penn and Newell went off without a hitch. The Tiburon spool is warped and rubs in one spot. I will put the spool on an indicator and post my results later. I just wanted to be clear and up front about this.

Tom, if you send that spool back to me I will send you another one.  This is the first time that I have heard of any problem with a Tiburon 349 spool.  Please let me know if the problem is the shaft or the body after you test it.
