Just wanted to thank everyone on this site who has responded with sincere offers of help and support.

And also to others -- who have kept our family in their good thoughts and prayers.

This is appreciated far more than you know...

Most times, we find that it is our friends who have the biggest impact on our lives -- as well as the instant readiness to step in with anything needed -- no questions or qualifiers -- just good friends...

This site is made up of good friends --

Down to Fresno this morning -- teaching Sunday School -- there is a crop of kids out there who each need what we can offer in the way of guidance and mentorship.

In this experience we call our mortal existence here on Earth -- we realize that one minute, we can have everything we could possibly wish to attain -- and in the next instant, be on our knees -- perspective and understanding, as well as we can at this moment -- are everything.

All the Best,

Fred

Just saw this.....Hate to hear when a family member gets cancer. Very sorry to hear this Fred.
It is only my belief in a Biblical God of mercy & grace that I can find peace & even begin to make sense out of things in times like these....You will be in my prayers tonight....I mean that sincerely....Jeff

Fred,
Please pm me your brothers first name.
Best,

There is nothing like lying flat on your back on the deck, alone except for the helmsman aft at the wheel, silence except for the lapping of the sea against the side of the ship. At that time you can be equal to Ulysses and brother to him.

Sorry to hear about your brother. Lost my younger sister to cancer a year ago. Hope things go well.

Fred, wishing the best for your brother and his family.  Nothing about cancer is easy.  Hang in there, as I know you will.
I woke today and suddenly nothing happened.
