Guys in Hawaii use this line. Kyle?  What is your opinion?

For light tackle i love this stuff. The casting distance is great vs braid. U can hear it during the cast, way less noise passing thru the guides. I wish it came in bigger sizes than 17lb!

I like this stuff too! An additional consideration in doubling for knots is a small drop of good quality super glue.

Have never had a knot fail while using this little bit of extra help.

that's what I meant by "reinforced knots", but I have a problem w/ acetone-based, air-cured superglues -- works great once or twice, then I have an overpriced "rock in a bottle"

been lookin' into UV-cured products as an alternative that can sit in the tackle box for years & remain functional:  http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=loon+outdoors+uv&_osacat=1492&_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.X%28Aquaseal%2Cloon+outdoors%2Cloonoutdoors%29+uv.TRS0&_nkw=%28Aquaseal%2Cloon+outdoors%2Cloonoutdoors%29+uv&_sacat=1492
