Has anyone use corrosion block grease on their reels?  Any difference between corrosion x vs. corrosion block. Huh?

ive had reel's  that were previously serviced with corrosion block, found it hardened up. i prefer yama lube with a few drops of corrosion x. the main thing it is marine grade, everyone has their own prefrence.  just remember any protection is better then none.
