Torium upgrade to Trinidad guts

I had a friend tell me that the torium can be upgraded to the Trinidad internal guys without too much cost. Does anyone know the specifics of this upgrade?

I imagine it is bearings primarily replacing bushings, but just thought I'd see if anyone knew the details.

not likely, and also no need!  the only upgrade we do is with the old trinidads and toriums to carbon fiber and spring loaded dog.  they are both great reels.
