hi,
just some queries in regards of the reel mentioned above.
is it normal for the reel to kinda made a popping sound whenever you turn the drag lever into freespool?.
just wondering cos mine been popping every time i moved the ld into free position.
sounds like the plastic cover touching or something.pulled it apart n everything seems fine.
any help very much appreciated.

actually, yes it is normal. it's the sound of the metal pressure plates hitting the plastic covers.
a note of caution with this reel. do not lean on it too hard. it has only a single anti-reverse roller bearing and i know of at least two failures on long range trips.
