Avet 30/2Reel

Just picked up a Avet 30/2 reel i was thinking of putting on 300 yd. of JB.130 lb. and 100 yd. of mono on it. What line what would you guys put on the reel.

I sell JB Line One so I use a lot of it.

I'd use a good 16 strand hollow braid for the backing and your favorite mono on top. I like Izorline XXX or Soft Steel Ultra for mono or if your going with fluoro on top I like Seaguar.

I run straight mono on my 50/2 exw for trolling.  Two tips from experience: expect a lot lower than listed capacity and be sure the installer puts the line on very tight. Good luck, they are great reels.

I have 300Yd. of 130 lb. J.B. on the Avet EX50/2 i was thinking of putting that on my Ave EX30/2 and a top shot of 80 or 100 l.b. mono with a short fluoro leader.
