Hi Rickman,

You can try this.....Right click on the notation about the third party posting that shows up where the picture should be.  Then, left click on the "Open Link" option.

You should then be able to look at the pictures on Photobucket so long as they are not "private" pictures.

If you see the picture, as you should be able to do, right click on your browser icon, select the "Open New Tab" option.  From this position open up the Alan Tani Site, open John's post about your reel on the site.  Now, you should be able to go back and forth between the open tabs, read the verbiage on the Tani site, look at the pictures on the other open site.

It's a little bit laborious but I think it will work for you until we get this mess straightened out and our pictures on a different hosting site.  I am now a neophyte on FLICKR and it seems to work o.k.  But, being a little slow on the uptake as far as computer stuff goes, it'll be a while before I get all of my posts transferred.

By the way, when I open pictures on PB they tell me I have to close my Pop Up Blocker before they'll let me look at them.  Thankfully, I have most of my pictures stored on my computer.

Let us know how you fared!

Thanks, with your help and switching browser from Firefox to Google Chrome l can finally see these kidnapped Photobucket photos.  Ends a bunch of frustration l've been experiencing since discovering this site.  Smiley

I've always used Internet Explorer but had a FoxFire browser installed in case it was ever needed.  Mozilla FoxFire had me do a half-dozen updates before it would accept the add-on for blocked photos.  Took less than ten minutes though.  I think you need to get to version 53 or 57 before the add-on will work.  Now I'm switching back and forth between the two browsers but can see blocked photos.

Can't see the kidnapped Photobucket photos anymore.  Got them working last week, but not now, even though I have "Photobucket Embed" added on in both Firefox and Chrome.  Huh?

I wouldn't call it hacking. They are our pics.
I've been working on some of Mike's posts and they caught me right in the middle of fixing the Long Beach 61,62,63 Thread. Roll Eyes

It took them longer to catch on than I figured it would. You could click on the notice for awhile if the album or photo hadn't been deleted and the album the photo was on would come so you could scroll through them and view it that way, but they've blocked that access now.

Such goes life I guess.  Roll Eyes

I've fixed a lot of posts. Spent several days and many hours doing what I could, without the need for plug ins or patches.
Not just mine alone. I knew there would be a timeline before the hammer fell for good.
I'm not saying its over, but if it is, I know I did the best I possibly could. Wink
That's all you can do.
I bet there will be another patch and I will go to work again. Grin

I tried the Chrome extension to view the PhotoBucket pics a couple of days ago & it worked OK.  I think they updated the extension at least once to make it work better.  I will try it again here & report what I get.

Tried the Chrome extension thingy just now & it worked OK.  Running Chrome 61.0.3163.100, with two extensions: 1) Photobucket Embed Fix 0.0.3; and 2) Photobucket Embedded Image Fix 0.6.
