Looks like you had a good trip! I noticed that you had your Daiwa BG along. How did that work out for you? I hear lots of good things about them, but would be interested in your opinion (review)... Glad you had fun!

This was the first trip for the BG and I'm impressed so far. The 6500 reel is way bigger than I thought it would be, if fact it's really big. The reel handled the heavy jigs, big red and lings with ease..... I didn't hook into anything really big but overall I'm impressed...
