Great Dawn. Now I won't have to do this anymore..! I have removed the original drag material from the fiberglass backing. I use a heavy heat resistant 3m spray glue and applied the Carbontex material and used 4 clamps. After the adhesive is set the extra material is removed and the holes drilled thru ready to attach to the drag plate. This has worked for me on many reels but the first one was a Tyrnos 30 reel and it's still being used today.
