Metal handle-side "Sealed bearing cap/insert"

Aloha,
Does anyone here have a metal handle-side "sealed" cap/insert? A good friend of mine is putting together a unique oem purple s338 and wanted to swap out the plastic one it came with. I know these were probably not made in very large numbers, but if anybody could part with one or even a full sideplate let me know what you'd need for it.
