Question on wood-handled rods

At least 1. I don't have them here, they are in storage. I have to go there for other stuff very soon.
I have not failed.  I just found 10,000 ways that won't work.

I was checking some of my blanks to rebuild and looked at one I have with a wood handle the blank on it goes all the way through. Dave

My first rod had a wooden handle, the Silaflex fibreglass was fitted in to the wood about 6 inches deep according to my memory.
I dismantled it, removed the wood and and turned it into a 8ft boat rod that I still have but don't use any longer.

Hahaha, they cast those backwards, have seen but never tried.

Yes Cor, the Alvey reel pivots, so the spool is facing the runner, its easy to get a good straight cast with them, you also get quite a distance as well, see Alvey closed there factory, in Australia last month, cheers Don.
