Can removed stock handle grips be reused?

Hi Alan,

I am going to replace the stock handle grip of either my Okuma TG30II or my Penn 50SW with the 5/0 Delron grip I got from you. The thing is I do not want to sell your custom grip, if, one day, I decide to sell my reel. Is there any way to reuse the stock handle grips (after some machining?)

Thanks!

as far as I know, once the stock handle knobs are drilled out from the handle arm is trash can material.

what I would normally do in reels that I might sell in a future, is to get another stock handle used or new and put the 5/0 Alantani knob there, in mi experience "normal" fishing guys dont see the big knob as value added to the reel, so when I decide to sell a reel just put the stock handle back and check the normal resale value and keep the arm or offered as a plus if the buyer agree to an extra cost.

PS: yep, AT members dont belong to the group or "normal" or "regular" fishing guys.
