Gimbal cover needed

My friend brought over a Penn 6 ft salt/stand up rod that is missing the plastic cover.   The outside dia of the slick butt is 1.25 inches.    Most any thing I can find is larger diameter........He,s picky.   wants it to be flush.    Even removing the metal gimble is ok.   The gimble is about 2 inch long.    I could shorten it ......   Any links or insites?   I havent tried Penn butt thats my last preference.
     Thoughts or advice?   Most slickbutts i have have larger diameter tubes.    Thanks.    gst

Pac Bay makes some that size. If I need one I take the rod to the tackle store and find one that fits.

You can also use a cap for a walking crutch. They work fine.

  Thanks for the ideas,  butt the guy wants it flush with the slickbutt....  I think the Penn Slickbutt is about i/8 inch smaller than most Ive got or seen.  I did find some plasitic caps at Mudhole Supply.   Its my only option right now......
