Got it corrected Juan, I misspelled your account name.  It's corr Ted now and you should see payment in your PayPal account.  Glad you caught it!

Ok guys
As of today I have gotten money from
                       David (3x spots)
                       Daniel (1 spot)
                       Ed (1 spot)
                       Mike (1 spot)
                       Steve (1 spot)
                       John (2x spots)
                       Dominik (1 spot)
                       Alan (1 spot)
                       Danny (1 spot)

Please let me know if I am missing anyone
We still have spots left but we have the price covered (1800 according to the website https://fareharbor.com/embeds/book/hulicat/items/65372/calendar/2017/11/?full-items=yes ), any extra spots will only lower the price. Better send me some pics!!
I am planning on taking the money to Tom on Saturday afternoon
Thanks so much
Juan

I don't understand, if the charter fee is covered then we have the whole boat?  If other anglers come along then we get refunds?  How's this work?

jlezama

HI David
Yes that is correct. Once the cost for the charter price is covered then you will all get a refund, on the order of 5 to15 bucks

Thanks for doing this Juan!

Is there a way to close off the boat and keep it less crowded?

I think we can pretty much close it now, but the boat is big enough not to be crowded, so no shoulder to shoulder. I am closing it with 18 people.

Sounds like a great plan Juan. Thanks again for setting this up.

Now, can you help with the weather?

Juan thanks for setting this up.  I am not going on this trip.  It won't be pleasant.  I am a wimp when the wind forecast is for rough conditions.  The forecast from the National Data Buoy Center is:

THU
E winds 10 to 20 kt. Wind waves 2 to 4 ft. NW swell 3 to 4 ft at 14 seconds.

I don't do well in these conditions.  I am sorry to miss out and to spend time with the members. Dominick
Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.

David Hall

I got someone to fill another spot.  One of my coworkers Chris would like to go.
I can send PayPal over to you or can he pay at the dock?

jlezama

Hi Dominick
Actualkly forecast does not look bad at all
Thu
E winds 5 to 15 kt. Wind waves 1 to 3 ft. W swell 3 to 4 ft at 14 seconds and S 3 ft at 14 seconds
This is from the NOAA website
http://marine.weather.gov/MapClick.php?site=mtr&zmx=&zmy=&map_x=157&map_y=184&x=157&y=185

So this are actually great drift conditions!
Let me know if you are still up, otherwise I will send you your money back

Hi Guys
We are set to go! Two days left, feel free to bring your fancy dandy rords and reels and all the jigs you might want. The Halfmoon Baty store has flies and weights (boat has some at decent prices but I believe a little more expensive) 4-8 oz will do but I would take a 10 oz just in case.
Please go to dock H. Is the last dock on the pier. Then enter your left and find the huli cat, it has a green hull and sometimes a pirate flag so it is hard to miss.
If you are taking an extra person that you haven't paid for, please bring cash to the boat (15). There are 18 spots (waiting for 5 to be filled up on the day of the charter)
I wont be there, sadly, but I will send a check to Alan in order to pay for the trip
Let me know if you have any questions
Juan

You can find squid at the HMB store and even better... there is a bait vending machine!
Also, David B. please call Alan ASAP, need to confirm!

Good luck and tight lines!!
Juan
