Anybody know what this is? Wooden knob is cool. AA battery to show scale.

Looks to be a Hendrix skeleton fly reel to me.  Not particularly valuable, but it is old (likely from the early part of the century).  Guys over on ORCA could tell you more.

I think so too, although Hendryx are usually marked.  Could also be made by Union Hardware.
