Thanks, Scott. I had aggravated my hernia a few weeks before our trip. I was very concerned about making it worse if I caught a fish even half that size. Have surgery scheduled next month. The hernia didn't bother me at all. My right hand cramped up, the backs of my legs were on fire, and my right shoulder ached for the next two days. Maybe 20 years ago I would have tried not to use the rail, but at 68 I needed all the help I could muster. I'll bet we chased that fish for 5 miles before landing him. The crew did a fantastic job. Except for getting the fish up on the rail, that is!
