....I also brought a Penn master Mariner, on ebay Australia last week, it arrived yesterday, has a crack in the tail plate, that I could see before I bid for it, I should be able to fill the crack inside & out side with, Techni glue...

G'day Don, what colour is the cracked tail plate? I've got a couple of dark reddish brown tail plates you can have. I picked them up ages ago trying to match a head plate I had - if yours is dark brown there's a slim chance they will match, or you could use them mismatched in the dark
