What did i buy?

 Hi gang, I went to a nautical flea market this morning and purchased this Ambassadeur 5000 on this trigger grip/cradle reel seat/butt for $20.00. I didn't need either but the curiosity got the best of me. The butt end of the cradle has J. Y. BRABHAM stamped on it. It may an owners name but it is professionally done.
The inside of the cradle is pitted and I can't make out the wording entirely but it looks like it might say _ _ tion-Rod. Might be the word Action, Motion or something else entirely.
Then it says _ _ _ _rd Industries Inc. Detroit Michigan.
The 5000 was in decent shape so I still feel the $20.00 was spent ok but I sure would like to know about this cradle. If anyone has a clue, please let me know.

Thanks Tommy. You have solved my mystery.
Not sure if I will be able to find an exact rod to fit into the handle. But can always improvise if need be.
