Fished the Pacific all my life never heard it referred to as snappy, but that does sound like an apt description of some days.

I was taking off from Ca last year, sitting fir wind to drop below 50knots. The pilot said the ascent was gonna be 'sporting' , Lol.

On boats we call that snotty

Dominick

I call it pukey.  Dominick
Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.

Last Ca. trip on rough water, the Capt. Said it was gonna be "sloppy". Indeed, I've never seen so much vomit that didn't make it over the side. You hadda hold your breath to use the head.

Fishing tackle is an art form and all fish caught on the right tackle are"Gfish"!

That's pretty good, Lee. I've never heard, or thought, of it in the chumming sense.  :D
