So you may have seen that I bought a few parts lots just to upgrade one reel.
I couldnít get the screws on the clicker plate loose even after soaking in solvent. Knowing the spool was pretty beat up anyways, I carefully drilled them out (donít want to ruin that beat up spool)

As I pried the clicker plate off, I saw this. This spool had to go. Now the reel will look like somebody actually cares about it


This reel desperately is begging to be taken care of. Itís like that old Ď57 Chevy rusting under a pile of blackberry bushes.

A friend of mine found a tiny crab and a barnacle inside one of his reels. He was not renowned for servicing them very often. This spool could have been one of his  Grin
