Charkbait Mark's comparison of Avet, Okuma, and Penn 50's.

Alan is mentioned near the end as in "I wonder what Alan Tani says about these reels?"

Wasn't sure where to post this.

I was on that 10 day trip, I got 2 over 200# on the Avet SDS 50 Mark convinced me I would need.  I also got a 87# wahoo on it.

Hi, my name is Lee and I have a fishing gear problem.

I have all of the answers, yup, no, maybe.

The most over used word to describe a fishing trip truly fits.

Epic!

Wow Lee, I'd rather have an 87# Wahoo than my 321# YFT! My best Wahoo is 53#.

When we first got on the big fish there were 6 or 7 cows on and all of them wanted to play off the bow.

That's one way to chill some fish, or freeze them...lol When was that trip September, October or later?

Oh and one fat piggy slipped off the sled. I hope you used the quad to pull it up the hill?

:o Great fishing Lee - I bet you forgot about the arthritis :D

Keta

I was told by my doctor that I was cancer free a few weeks before the trip and the arthritis was only a minor problem back then.

I don't remember you talking about that trip in January Lee.  It must have be something that is sort of routine for you.  :)
