Accurate 197 Tutorial...?

Hi Alan,
I remember there was a tutorial a few years ago, but cannot find it on the fishing sites.
Besides service maint on the reel, I have a problem with the drag lever popping down to freespool position when the drag lever is in the 1st or 2nd detent position.  Seems like the detent ball/spring inside the lever is weak. Any suggestions, heavier spring..?
It goes to freespool with a light touch on the lever.
Caused a big birds nest.

there is service info on the accurate site.  i think what you are experiencing is trouble with the cut of the cam.  there is a steep ramp up, and a steep drop off down.
