Summertime is usually crazy for me. Not just rod building but I have a farm I try to keep running. Both really cut into my fishing time.

I actually do work for others besides Bullseye but they aren't quite as interesting. John is always throwing curves at me. Not many pictures as I was in a hurry to get these delivered and get some farm chores done. Maybe John will post some more.

The first one is an old Fenwick 130. It was stripped down and John gave me the colors and told me more boxes, all the way under the big roller. Let me tell you there is a lot of thread there. In the last piture the rod behind it was one we just cleaned up some.

The other one that I was doing was an old Montague. We stripped this on down and I did all the thread work as was done on the original but the colors were changed. John might add some pictures as this is all I have.

Forget about all the reasons why something may not work. You only need to find one good reason why it will.

Thanks folks! Sal, if the quality of my rods ever equals the quality of your custom knobs, I'd be one happy camper!
