Steve, we we're two or three miles off of the backside of San Clemente Island, which is approx 55 miles offshore.

Nice RP!!

Another big dog. Beautiful fish and way to go Bud!

...................Lou

Thank you Lou.  I know that's a small tuna by New England standards, but it's a good fish for So. Cal.

STRIPER LOU

Randy, that's a great fish by any standard.

The inshore fishing has been absolutely terrible here. The worse I have ever seen.

Offshore has been good but I have not been.

Sushi tonight????

I'm really sorry to hear that the stripers are not cooperating this year.  Maybe it will be a late season?  I hope that it picks up soon for you.

No sushi for me.  I like to catch fish but I have never acquired a taste for it.  The best fish that I have ever had wasn't as good as the worst hamburger!

Thanks again,

Randy

Dominick

Good to see you fishing instead of working.  Nice job on that tuna.  Dominick
Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.

You are right Mike.  The guys that I was fishing with were happy to take most of it and my wife is happy to have the rest.

Thank you Dominick.  Your right, my ratio of fishing time to fooling around with fishing tackle time has been way out of whack lately.

Awesome catch. Hard to imagine catching Pacific Bluefin of that grade off of California.
Congratulations.

Thank you Scott.  Believe it or not, there are lots of them out there, and have been for the past couple of years.  I have been kicking myself for not taking a shot at them but finally got the chance and jumped on it and I got lucky and everything worked out beautifully.
