Hey guys/gals,

Got the cf disks i needed for the reel from smooth drag and greased and installed them, removing some of the metal drag disks to make room.

So its all back together and the drag system is working!

So it appears I have to get the starwheel cranked down a good way to get where i want the drag set...so can i go back in and add another spacer along with cf disk under gear to put me more in middle of star drag adjustment range.  A new cf disk is already under there per my install, replacing the old metal disk/spacer at that location...   Looking for how you guys go about tuning one in, given that its kind of a custom operation??

you input is invited, and thanks

You could put:
cf, main gear, cf, eared metal, cf, slotted metal, cf, eared, cf, slotted
Many people here say to put a slick fiber or delrin washer under the main gear to make it smoother.
You could also add Belleville washers or small flat washers between the drag stack and the stainless collar.
