I've been looking for those acrylic reel stands for display. All I can find are the bait casters. I need for a spinning reel. The one I want are the ones that hold it by the feet standing up. Looking for clear.

Not sure where they came from, but I think they were home made.

Daron (Shark Hunter) was making them a while ago, but for conventional reels.        Rudy

That is a little out of my league.
I usually just make them out of flat sheet.
I'm on Vacation right now, but I'm sure I could come up with something not as extravagant.

That stuff is sort of fun to play with.  Once you get the feed speed right it's easy to cut with a scroll saw.  You can scribe and break straight edges.  Burnish the edges with scrapers.  The hard part is learning to chamfer and buff out the edges while protecting the flat surfaces from being marred.  There is a special solvent cement that is pretty strong.  If you need more strength you can pin joints too.

Those are really nice!! Are they for only casting reels since they are bolted down? Thanks

It was just something I was making since I work at an acrylic factory.
