STRIPER LOU

First off, these Kits which are Randy's inspiration are simply amazing! I'm loosing track of the variations I've built, but if your one that likes them narrow,  ..  these kits are King!! Period!!

The V.O.T. kit from RP and Tom's plates with unparalleled quality put you more than halfway to a beautiful custom reel that would pretty much be the envy of anyone. Bear in mind that they're Made In the USA too.

Can you beat that?? Not in my book!!

The Custom parts that I completed on 11/30 were added and this includes the inserted Acrylic knob, custom made and inserted Newell style arm, custom shift lever w/ Acrylic bumper, and of course the wide top star. The star was a design spinoff that came out just the way it should. It looks great, feels great, and it works perfectly. Its time well spent that brings  a lot of personal satisfaction to the table.

The internals are full boat as usual including a shop made Drag stack and a lot of SS parts.

The first T4NI that was built here created quite a buzz at the shop, but, this one has had the place crazy for the past day and a half. The first guy that saw it, put out a text and after that, its been a trail of people in and out of here all day long.

The shop is super busy now and finishing up  some big tackle shop orders, plus a bunch of prototype work. New partner is great with 40+ years in the business and I couldn't be happier.  In the next month or so, we'll be moving to his sons place, hopefully for bigger and better things.

We have more stars in the works, some of the 5 piece knobs are complete and on display in the shop for feed back (they're awesome!) and I hope to have some of the MOP inserts completed for the Maxed Out reel kits within the next month.

Randy, thanks again for these, its appreciated and Tom, if this deep purple color was the anodizer's  mistake, its one of the best mistakes I've seen in a long time. Pictures don't even come remotely close to this reel. Its beyond stunning!

Well, its back to work time. Hey, this was a fun project and hope you all like it.    Everyone have a great evening,  ..  Lou

PS: the T60XN is in the works and should be completed in the next few months.

She's a beauty!  I sure wouldn't fish that... it looks destined to be a proud shelf queen in the center of the shelf under the spot light.

I need one like that to use as a hood ornament on my new truck!

I agree. These are showroom reels. They way I treat my reels I could never have something like that on the boat.
