What do you guys think of Fin-Nor Offshore spinning Gears?  They say that they are stainless but are they any good?  Thanks

alantani

now sure about the spinners.  the conventionals are copies of the daiwa saltists, and i am not that fond of either.......   :-\

Alan do you like Okuma's gears on their spinners?  What are they made out of?

alantani

spinners are interesting.  they can be a nightmare to service.  yet all you have to do is pack all the bearings with grease, get some grease on the non-exposed metal surfaces, and switch out the drags for carbon fiber.  nothing could be simpler.  do that and they will all work just fine.  alan
