I have Amb 6500 cl, it came with two different colored brake pads(2 pins), white and black.  Does anyone know the difference?

Hi. there are three colours, for three sizes/weights....blue, black, white. I can never remember the order of colours for weights.   I seem to recall light to heavy: blue, black, white.

Whilst I won't guarantee that the numbers are correct this is what I have written down regarding the brake blocks:

Weight of Abu Brake Blocks:
Fiber blocks 0,0130g
Blue 0,0153g
Black 0,0243g
White 0,0263g

I copied this from Ambassadeur a few yrs. ago.

Ambassadeur baitcasting reels feature a centrifugal brake system that you can adjust with light (blue), medium (black) or heavy (white) brake weights. As the spool spins, centrifugal force creates pressure from the weights to prevent overruns at the start of the cast.

It came from the Abu Garcia site is about all I can remember, I've had it on file here for years. It was on back when they were making the Tournament Pro's that had die cast aluminum frames (1600-3600-5600)
