VBX bearing Free Caliper

thought I would forward this to all of you.

VBX does this free caliper deal every once in a while. the Calipers are OK but not as smooth as the expensive ones.
They work fine once you work them in and the contact surfaces smooth out a bit. Just find #30 worth of bearings you want.
Tip do a google search for the sizes you want and look for a VBX deal (10 for $29 is a good deal for stainless bearings). Searching the VBX site does not always show the specials they have.

thanks, jim.  remember those avet bearings that i bought from avet that were already damaged?  well, i sent them back, can't remember if i got a refund or what.  dawn at smoothdrag and teddy at boca did not stock that size, but i was able to find it a vbx.  they sent me a caliper.  nice one.  gave it to a guy that was visiting, trying to learn how to fix reels.
